About Sanyuan

How do people without a home become one another’s home?

In Sanyuan, energy determines a person’s place in the world. A few young people meet in the spaces between academy life and ordinary work. This is a story about power, loss, and the slow work of finding a home in other people. You do not need to remember every place name before you begin. Start with the people.

Writing and updates

The story is being written and released chapter by chapter. No fixed update day has been announced; the contents page records published chapters and their dates. Chinese and English are released independently. Only published work is listed here.

A note to the author

If a sentence stays with you, or a passage is difficult to follow, leave a note at the end of its chapter. You can share it publicly or send it only to the author. Your current page is included automatically; page numbers vary with screen and text size. Please keep public notes free of spoilers and personal contact details.

Reading and privacy

The site records anonymous chapter opens and referring domains, not IPs, full referring URLs or cross-site IDs. Repeat opens of the same chapter in one tab within 30 minutes count once. No event is recorded when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled. Reading positions and text preferences stay in your browser. Public notes are visible to everyone; private notes are read only by the author in Firebase.
